Craftsmanship
How a Jay Chamunda piece comes together — from the first sample to the final check before dispatch.
Process
01Design & sampling
Every design starts as a sample, refined until it wears comfortably and photographs well.
02Forming
Bases, domes and bands are formed and shaped to the design.
03Stone setting
Stones and pearls are sorted by colour and set motif by motif.
04Finishing
Pieces are finished in gold-tone, antique, rose or oxidised tones.
05Inspection & packing
Each batch is checked before it is packed for dispatch.
Quality
Before a batch is packed, pieces are checked for stone setting, finish and fittings such as hooks, screws and dori closures. Anything that doesn't pass is set aside.

Stone setting
Stones are checked to be secure and evenly placed.
Finish
Plating and antique tones are checked for evenness.
Fittings
Hooks, screws, clasps and dori closures are checked to work smoothly.
